What To Expect / FAQ:

Getting there: The Nisei Lounge is two blocks away from both the Belmont and Addison Red Line stops. The #22 Bus has a stop very close by. Street parking is available as well. There is no Cubs game so no need to worry about extra traffic!

Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible with only a slight incline to enter.

Drinks: Turning the Page staff has prepared their own literary-themed drink menu featuring The George R.R. Martini, Margar-ita Atwood, The Old Man and the Seagram, Song of Solo-manhattan, Daquiri-ous Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and Malort of the Flies. Please drink responsibly and don’t get the Moby Hiccups – all drinks can be served virgin(ia Woolf). Please note that only cash tips support TTP programs; there is an ATM on site if needed.

Food: D’Agostino’s will be delivering pizza and appetizers at 6:15. First come, first served!

Entertainment: Nisei Lounge has a pool table, a photo booth (with book-related props!), board games, and darts. A back patio will be a great place to hang out and chat with TTP staff to learn more about our programs and what we do.

Silent Auction: The silent auction will begin at 6 PM; please register with a staff member when you arrive. The bidding will end at 8:30 PM. Scroll down for more details!
