What Would You Do With 100,000 Books?

Books2At Turning the Page, we give them away. We love books and we love sharing that love with our families. We ensure each parent and student receives at least one book when they attend our programs. Our goal is to assist families in building their own family libraries. In fact, families typically receive over 40 books per school year just from attending TTP programming. That means that over the last 17 years, TTP has distributed over 100,000 books to our D.C. Public School families! With our recent expansion to Chicago Public Schools, we’ll be doubling the book love across two cities. To celebrate the home libraries being built across the Ward 8 and N. Lawndale communities, our Chicago staff are highlighting their favorite childhood books and new titles that they’re most excited about. The results are featured below, check them out!
