DC Unfiltered Continues!

We launched DC Unfiltered with a grand celebration!  56 parents, students, teachers, and supporters gathered at Gallery 102 on George Washington University’s campus to unveil the student art in this year’s Literacy Through Photography exhibit. Students proudly presented their photos and writing to wowed families, while we honored teachers for challenging students’ visions of family, community, and friends.

The celebration continues in the gallery through July 11. We’d like everyone who visits the exhibit to add to DC Unfiltered. So come, answer the exhibit’s central question: What is your city?

To contribute your view of a DC Unfiltered, add to TTP’s #DCUnfiltered online album:

  1. Visit the LTP display at Gallery 102 on George Washington University’s campus
  2. Fill in the blank “My DC is ______” on one of the signs left in the exhibit
  3. Stand in front of our photo booth
  4. Photograph yourself holding the sign
  5. Post the photo to Facebook or Twitter with the tag #DCUnfiltered
  6. Tape your “My DC is” sign anywhere in the exhibit
